Participation

Participation  (From student handbook)
Excused from P.E. Participation: Physical education is an important part of a child’s educational experience and is required by state law. A written excuse is required in the event a child needs to be excused from participation in physical education. If he or she cannot participate for a period of more than five days, a doctor’s statement must be presented to the school. A note from the physician releasing the student to return to regular participation in physical education will also be required.


P.E. Schedule

The students come to physical education classes twice a week for 50 minutes, either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday.  The students also come to physical education classes for 30 minutes each Friday. 
The schedule is as follows:
7:30-8:30         Teacher Duty

8:35-9:25         Fourth Grade

9:35-10:25       Teacher Conference Period

10:35-11:25      Third Grade

11:35-12:05      Teacher Lunch

12:05-1:55       Second Grade

1:05-1:55         Kindergarten

2:05-2:55         First Grade
