Accelerated Reader is a computerized reading program that has the students reading books from the classroom, library, or home. The students take a test on the book on the computer in their classroom. The  computer keeps track of how many points they have earned. Students may only take the test on a book once. The computer remembers what books have been tested for each student. This year students will be rewarded for their AR points at the Library sponsored Accelerated Reader Store.  Students will use their points to "purchase" items in the store.

Kaufman Elementary will again be using the web-based Renaissance Place/Enterprise program for Accelerated Reader.  This program allows students to quiz on any book that has an AR quiz.  Students will only be able to quiz at school.   Bookmark the following site to use Renaissance Place.  Parents may login and Request Parent/Guardian Access to follow your students' progress and to see which AR quizzes are available.

If you would like to volunteer to help at the AR STORE, please contact Mrs. Wright at 832-592-5649 or email [Link]aiwright@conroeisd.net

Thanks  :)
